The advanced Open water course is naturally the next step on from your Open Water qualification. You will be met with the same enthusiasm as you were in the Open water course and as always our friendly staff and club members are on hand to offer any additional advice to that given by PADI.
The Advances Open Water Course (AOW) gives you a further insight into the world of diving by training you on more robust skills and techniques whilst diving, as well as a better sense of confidence as you learn new aspects of the sport.
It is at advanced level that you are introduced to ‘Specialities’ – smaller qualifications which focus on one particular skill or aspect of diving and consist of a whole range of choice. As a part of the AOW course, you will be able to select which of these you want to start learning. You will also be taught under water navigation using a compass as well as deeper diving skills which allow you a depth limit of 30 Meters.
