Technical Diving Courses
The technical diving courses under the banner of DSAT TecRec teach you the techniques, skills and procedures required for any diving beyond recreational dive limits.
These are some of the most intensive, yet exciting and enjoyable, technical diving courses you will find. Waterfront Scuba have staff with hundreds of technical dives and hours logged as well as being amongst the most qualified instructors in the United Kingdom.
Members of our dive team regularly carry out technical dives every season, so you can be safe in the knowledge that your training and skill development is in safe professional hands.
Technical diving isn’t something for everyone but if you have a desire to dive deeper and longer or wish to develop skills to enable you to explore deeper ship wrecks and the marine life that resdides at deeper depths then this type of diving appeals to you. Technical is not without risks but if you are willing to accept the risks, responsibilities and obligations, you’ll find it one of the most rewarding and exciting dive experiences you will ever have.
This course combines the three technical diving courses TEC 40, TEC 45 and TEC 50 into one single course covering your training as an entry-level Technical diver, giving you the certification rating of DSAT TEC DEEP Diver and taking you past the depth limits of recreational diving. During your training you will make actual decompression dives as deep as 50 metres. You will be using enriched air nitrox and/or oxygen for decompression and use desk top decompression software to create custom dive tables and plan your dives. By the end of the course you will qualify to make technical decompression dives independently.
