Tec Deep 45 Diver Course Technical Diving Course
The Tec 45 technical diving course picks up where Tec 40 leaves off and takes your training as a Tec diver a step further and deeper. It is the second sub-course in the full PADI Tec Diver certification course. You will learn the skills, equipment and planning needed to plan and undertake a dive to a maximum of 45 metres. You will acquire the knowledge to plan and execute single and repetitive decompression dives using a single stage cylinder of EANX or oxygen to accelerate or add conservatism to the decompression stops.
How Long Does it Take
This technical diving course takes 2 to 3 days to complete or longer if required it is important that you are confident with your new skills in order that you can enjoy your new certification, time is not always the main factor to consider and the course may take one or two days extra for some individuals.
What Do I Need
DSAT Tec Deep Diver Crewpack
Twin Set Cylinders with Manifold, Backplate and Wing
Dive Computer, Exposure Suit , Weights and Weight System
Stage Cylinders with Regulator(s)
Cylinders must be Oxygen clean
Course Materials, Dive Site Entry Fees, Gas Fills and Equipment Hire is not included in the price of the course
Pre Course Diving Certification Requirements
- Be 18 years old minimum
- Be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
- Be a PADI Enriched Air Diver
- Be a PADI Deep Specialty Diver
- PADI Tec 40 Diver
- Have a minimum of 50 logged dives, of which at least 12 dives were made with enriched air nitrox deeper than 18 metres, 6 dives (with or without EANx) were deeper than 30 metres
- Have a medical form signed by your physician
The course covers equipment considerations, oxygen tracking, decompression dive planning along with practical experience using stage cylinders.
1 x Session of Theory Knowledge Development Review and Video plus Exam
1 x Pool session to learn and practice new skills required for open water divers
2 x Days of Open Water Dives where you will undertake, Shutdown Drills, Shared Gas ascents, stage cylinder removal and reattachment, Surface Marker Buoy Deployment, Decompression Gas Switching, Dive planning techniques, equipment configuration. learn to prepare for and respond to foreseeable technical diving emergencies. Upon completion of this technical diving course you will earn the certification of TEC Deep 45 Diver.
